Who Can Apply for the DDSA PhD Fellowship 2026?
You can apply for the DDSA PhD Fellowship 2026 if you have a clearly defined PhD research proposal and a confirmed agreement with a principal supervisor at a Danish university. You must be eligible for enrolment in a Danish PhD School before 15 December 2026 and meet the requirements of one of the Danish PhD models, including degree pathways:
- 5+3 model: Master’s degree (120 ECTS) + Bachelor’s (180 ECTS)
- 4+4 or 3+5 models: Bachelor’s degree, with integrated Master’s and PhD
High-level English proficiency, both in written and spoken, is required. Candidates already enrolled in a PhD program, as well as industrial or co-funded PhDs, are not eligible for this fellowship.
