Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellowship is offering 2 types of programs:
- European Postdoctoral Fellowships
- Open to researchers moving within Europe or coming to Europe from outside
- Duration: 12 – 24 months
- Must be hosted in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country
- Open to researchers of any nationality
- Global Postdoctoral Fellowships
- Open to EU nationals or long-term residents
- Requires an outgoing phase (12 – 24 months) in a Third Country
- Must include a mandatory 12-month return phase to an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country
- Supports researchers in developing global collaborations
Both types of fellowships may include short-term secondments anywhere in the world and additional placements of up to 6 months in a non-academic organization within the EU or Horizon Europe-associated countries. MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2025 Eligibility
- Must have a PhD degree at the time of application deadline (or have successfully defended their thesis)
- Maximum of 8 years of research experience post-PhD (career breaks and time outside research do not count)
- Must apply with a host institution (university, research center, or business in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country)
- Must comply with mobility rules:
- European Fellowship applicants must not have resided or worked in the host country for more than 12 months in the last 36 months
- Global Fellowship applicants must not have resided in the host organization’s country for more than 12 months in the last 36 months
