Internship Responsibilities

  • Farm Work (Monday-Thursday Mornings):
  1. Planting, weeding, irrigating, trellising, and harvesting crops
  2. Washing and preparing produce for distribution
  • Farm Stand & CSA (Wednesday & Thursday Afternoons):
  1. Prepping and managing the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program
  2. Operating the farm stand for selling produce
  • Internship Training (Fridays):
  1. Workshops & Discussions on farm design, soil health, and food systems
  2. Farm Tours & Volunteer Work at other farms and community gardens
  3. Managerial Roles Rotation (record-keeping, outreach, CSA operations)
  4. Personal Farm Project: Interns plan, plant, manage, and harvest their own vegetable beds
