Eligibility Criteria for DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarship 2025

You must fulfil the following criteria to get eligible for the DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarship 2025:

• Be a citizen of a developing country in Sub-Saharan Africa, Central & South America, South & Southeast Asia, or the Middle East
• Reside in their home country or a partner country in the same region
• You should have a Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants) or a Master’s degree (for PhD applicants)
• Meet the admission requirements of the host university
• Not be receiving another DAAD-funded scholarship at the same time

Women and applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
