University of Twente Scholarship 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Please note that you need to fulfil the following requirements to apply for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS):
- A non-EU/EEA country citizen. please check the complete list on the official website.
- Provisionally admitted to an eligible MSc program starting in September 2025
- Never completed a degree at the University of Twente before
- Not eligible for a Dutch study loan
- You must meet visa and residence permit requirements for studying in the Netherlands
- You must meet English proficiency standards:
- IELTS score of 6.5 overall
- TOEFL iBT score of 90
- Minimum subscore of 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) in speaking
- Your chances of admission increase if you’re among the top 5-10% of your class academically
- You must hold a valid student number from the University of Twente
- Not a Dutch or EU/EEA student
- The UTS 2025 is not for programs offered by the Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC)
- Pre-master’s students are not eligible
