Benefits of SK Global Scholarship 2025
The SK Global Scholarship covers the following expenses:
- Round-trip airfare (up to 3,000,000 KRW)
- Full tuition coverage (7,392,000 KRW per semester for 4 semesters)
- Entrance fee waiver (1,142,000 KRW)
- Monthly stipend (1,500,000 KRW) for 2 years
- Medical insurance for the entire study duration
- Korean language training fee (optional, partially covered)
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Korea University SK Global Scholarship 2025, you must fulfil this given criteria:
- Nationality Requirements
- Applicants must be from one of the 32 eligible countries:
- 19 European Countries: Austria, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine.
- 11 Southeast Asian Countries: East Timor, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines.
- India and Pakistan are also eligible.
- Applicants’ parents must also hold non-Korean citizenship.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or be in their final year (expected graduation by September 2025).
- Language Proficiency: Applicants must provide one of the following English or Korean proficiency test scores:
- TOEFL iBT: Minimum 71
- IELTS Academic: Minimum 5.5
- CEFR: Minimum B2
- New TEPS: Minimum 326
- TOPIK Level 3 or higher
Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree taught in English are exempt from the language test requirement.
