Internship Details

• Position: GAIN Summer Internship 2025
• Organization: German Academic International Network (GAIN) at the DAAD New York Office
• Duration: Start between May 1 and June 1, 2025; end on September 15 or 30, 2025
• Location: New York City, USA
• Compensation: $1,500 monthly stipend

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for this GAIN summer internship, you should meet the following requirements:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English with strong German language skills
• Interest: Keen interest in higher education and science policy
• Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small team
• Experience: Prior event planning experience is advantageous
• Work Authorization: Valid U.S. work permit (Note: DAAD cannot sponsor visas)
